TESTIMONIALS

"From the time I first opened the case on K2, I knew this is the banjo I have been looking for! It's as close to Sonny's Granada as I have ever played. If these banjos sound this good new, just think what they will sound like 10-20 years down the road."
- Mickey Flatt, owner of KRAKO 2

"KRAKO 3 was born on October 19, 2020 and I have had it since October the 21st of that same year. It has been and will continue to be my exclusive banjo. I haven't found anything it can't do, and it always looks up and says "Let's GO!" I've had the pleasure of playing Sonny's Granada, 9584-2, and it really is the best banjo ever made. K3 is the closest thing I've ever played to that banjo and it's getting closer every day. I can't wait to hear it in a few years. These are the new prewar banjos."
- Derek Vaden, owner of KRAKO 3

"When I opened the case the first day I got it at a show, I went straight on stage with it. It's a workhorse, wouldn't expect anything else from Sonny and Lincoln. I was able to powerhouse Little Roy Lewis and that's saying a lot!"
- Lizzy Long, owner of KRAKO 4

"I have four Pre Wars but at the end of the day I always end up with the Osborne KRAKO on my lap. The sustain begs me to give a little bend on all the notes and the response is shocking to me still after having this banjo for a couple of weeks now!"
- Doug Greenleaf, owner of KRAKO 5

"I've played a few banjos that sound like this and they all were made in the 30s. KRAKO will drive you mad with tone!"
- Wes Vanderpool, owner of KRAKO 6

”In April 2021, I first heard Krako 1 and immediately recognized Earl’s prewar sound coming from a new banjo! I posted my deposit, and impatiently waited (bought 3 other banjos) ‘til April 2022. During the wait, I told my 95 year old mother about it, played her videos of Krako 1, and she made me promise that I would play it for her when I got Krako 14. She almost passed in November, had a heart surgery, and I was afraid that I wouldn’t keep my promise. However, Lincoln got it done, and, after 11 hours of last minute driving, was able to play my holy grail of banjos for her on Easter. My Dad died Easter 2018, and this amazing banjo made our otherwise sad time joyous! Mom is from the Appalachian hills of Southern Ohio, and loves it! The tone is out of this world!”
